Presentation

This is the finished linework animation. This is where I learned to work with the camera tool and practised animating. As I animated I became much more comfortable and familiar with the tools I was using and with the timeline and was able to explore the short cut to each tool I was using which made the process of animating much quicker.

This is the coloured version of the animation. While colouring I worked a lot with tweens and overal colouring was more technical than animating. I needed have a lot of patrience colouring things like the wings and tail in scene 4 because every new frame was a little different than the other, which meant I had to go erase, paint and repeat for a long period of time.

This is the coloured and shaded version. Here I have the character/dragon shaded and also I finally have fixed the eyes on scene 1.

This version has a background colour. I consider the version with no background because I am not sure about the colour on this one. I think that I would rather stick with the white background.

I revisited the brief for the FMP to make sure I have met the requirements for the quality. I worked on 1920 x 1080 and when rendering I selected 1080p HD which meets the requirement in order for my animation to be added to the MGA showreel.

I added my final animation to Behance, as weel as the linework animation, and the coloured animateion with not shading, to show the progress of the animation. I will be adding more stuff from this year there, like the my logos and the animation from the Movie Intro Project.

Behance is a good way to expose my work so actively putting work there might get me noticed. In addition, Behance also offers job opportunities and thought Behance you future employer can access your work quite easily and decide if what you do is what they are looking for.
